As Amazon’s first Principal Sound Designer, and an original member of the Alexa and Echo Design teams, Chris has defined and developed the personality and sound of Alexa and the non-verbal audio cues that accompany AI voices and Amazon’s Digital Products. Prior to Amazon, Chris spent years performing and producing music and as a Sound Designer for AAA interactive games including “The Sims” and “Spore”.
Currently, Chris leads the Amazon Futures “Expression Design Team” that explores and defines the future of ambient, multi-modal, multi-sensory experiences.
